the almost car crash

This morning while I was getting Nick's breakfast and lunch ready I kept having the feeling that on our journey to his work he should drive. (I literally drive him to work every day). We were going on our way and just talking about silly things when we came up to a part of the freeway that is really slow in one of the lanes (the right one because it is an on ramp to another freeway). We were driving in the left lane and we had slowed down to like 50mph and then all of the sudden a guy decides that he is tired of waiting and pulls out into our lane. Nick swerved onto the shoulder while slamming on the brakes. The 4 cars behind us also had to slam on their brakes and pull off the road. I immediately started crying and was just so thankful that Nick was driving. He stays so calm in high pressure situations and I panic. I know that if I was driving we would have crashed. I am so thankful for the ever watchful eye of our Heavenly Father. He always looks out for us and we just have to listen to him. He wants to help us. I am so thankful we weren't in a car crash today!

life is just going on

Nick is now a full time employee with AMR. That means he is going to school 2 days a week for 12 hours and also working 4 days a week for 12 hours. We pretty much aren't going to see each other except on Sundays until he is done with school in June. I'm pretty sad about it but also glad because he is taking the right steps to his career and we also will be getting benifits! I haven't been to the Dr in over 2 years! It will be really nice to be able to go when I'm sick and get questions answered that I have. But it is still really sad that I won't see my man for a very long time. And when he is home he will be very tired.

A couple of weeks ago I bowled a 195 in bowling class and got the 3rd highest score of the day! But since then I haven't broke 130. my average is 125 right now.
